Part of Plenty Bed & Breakfast is located in Historic Port Tobacco, the original county seat of Charles County Maryland and an easy jaunt to Washington D.C.. Situated on approximately four acres, Part of Plenty Bed & Breakfast is a restored farm house, renovated in 1996 and furnished with period antiques and reproductions. This two story Colonial home was built around 1850 with three bedrooms, each with a private bath. Downstairs we have an efficency we call the "Cozy Corner". Our private Carriage House is fully equipped with a kitchen and a washer and dryer, suitable for a family of five. On hot summer days, guests can cool off in our outdoor pool by the garden patio; in the winter, cozy up to a fireplace while sipping a hot beverage.

Relax in our welcome parlor as you plan visits to the many area attractions. Marinas, Golf Courses, and National Historic Sights are all within a half an hour of our Bed & Breakfast. The Metro to Washington D.C. is only twenty miles away where you can park and ride into the city for a lovely day trip then come back to Part of Plenty for a restful night’s sleep in the country. The money you save on our accomodations you can spend while shopping at the Nation’s Capital!

All guest rooms are quaintly located on the second floor which steps up from the parlor. The parlor, covered front porch and dining room are always available for any guest to enjoy at their leisure. In the mornings, feast on our home cooked complimentary breakfast in our comfortable and spacious dining room.
